A secure camping area
Access to crew cafe, bar, toilets, and hot showers
All volunteers are welcome to enjoy the festival when they are off-shift.
To apply volunteers need to:

Be available for a briefing at either 14:00 or 22:00 on the Wednesday
Be available to work 3 x 8 hour shifts at any time between 16:00 & midnight Wednesday and 16:00 Monday

FESTIVAL SUPPORTERS
We would love to hear from you if you are already coming to Leeds Festival and would like to become a 'Festival Supporter' and help us secure the festival's future. We really want to build on the work we did in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 to make our campsites friendlier, safer and cleaner and to create a good atmosphere.
What we are hoping is that you will pledge your support to the future of the festival by keeping your eyes and ears open and letting us know when you spot any problems either with the facilities or with something happening.
There is no 'work' involved, we are just hoping that you would go to the nearest steward if you saw or heard of a problem and report it to them so that we can take action.
If you would like to know more about the Festival Supporters scheme, then please email hblake@festivalrepublic.com or write to Harmony Blake, The Stables, Henham Park, Beccles, Suffolk NR34 8AN

GREEN MESSENGERS
Leeds and Reading festivals are looking to recruit up to 280 "green messengers" to work in the campsites at each festival, talking to the festival goers and encouraging them to be environmentally aware in the disposal of their rubbish, particularly in packing up. Festival Republic are keen to alert festival goers to the environmental impact of burning their tents and possessions instead of taking them home or donating them. The organisation, Global Hand is working in association with Festival Republic at both events to collect in any left behind tents and possessions for re - use in disaster relief and the green messengers will work with Global Hand on the Monday and Tuesday to help recycle the tents.
