"Over the last few years, there has been a ridiculous amount of fantastic bands coming from Leeds, that's why we started Dance To The Radio in early 2005, starting off releasing records featuring iLiKETRAiNS, The Sunshine Underground as well as ¡Forward, Russia! That Leeds Festival has recognised this and had a local band stage for the last couple of years (is that right, has it been 2 years?) has been a great recognition to this fact.

Hot on the success of The Pigeon Detectives top 3 album, we are proud to host the welcoming party for this year's festival - featuring ¡Forward, Russia!s first gig since returning from Seattle having completed album number two. Joining, will be Sheffield's The Wallbirds as well as more established DTTR act's Sky Larkin, Shut Your Eyes & You'll Burst Into Flames and the Grammatics who should all be releasing new material later on in the year."
